Dusan Matic is a well known and respected goalkeeper coach, currently working with the Finland Mens National team. Dusan spent a week with the Champion of Greece DOUKAS SAC, and we asked him to share his thoughts with us, about the level and quality of Futsal in Greece.
Here is what he had to say:
When one team has a two goalkeepers in a same time it is a common situation, but when one goalkeeper has two teams in a same time in different categories (female and male)…it’s really specific!
Panu: Dusan Matic, you published a book Goalkeeper in futsal few years ago, why did you decide to do the project?
Dusan: When I started to be a futsal goalkeeper, there wash´t any literature or materials for education. So, when I started with coaching after my career as a keeper I decide to offer my knowledge and experience for the future goalkeepers.

Who is Dusan Matic? Tell us about your playing career?
I played as a goalkeeper in football and in 2000 I started playing futsal. At first I played tournaments and later, in 2005, in an amateur league. With some friends we founded KMF Novi Beograd and from that moment I started to take futsal seriously. At first I was the goalkeeper and club secretary and later the goalkeeper coach. My entire playing career was spent in KMF “New Belgrade”, a club of which I am one of the founders. I played in the 1st and 2nd Serbian futsal leagues.
